About Us

SOS – Survivors of Stroke was started in April 2018 by two young stroke survivors called Lee and Ashley. We have made it our mission to raise awareness regarding stroke, whilst offering help and support to others, who have been affected by this devastating and life changing disease.

Lee Pemberton became a stroke survivor at the age of 31, suffering both an Ischemic Stroke and a TIA Stroke (Separate Occasions), Ashley Martin was just 17 years old when he suffered an Haemorrhagic stroke whilst on a driving lesson.

Due to our experiences, we decided to team up and bring you SOS – Survivors of Stroke which has gained media and social attention, as well as a successful following across our social media network.

What People Say About Our Service

Excellent. Good source of information & inspiring to others who have survived a stroke and battle every day to gain independence & functionality. Long may you continue. Thank you for your support

Just knowing I’m not alone & chatting with others who have the same visual impairments I now have, surviving & living life this sorta gives me hope.
